Count me in! All the pundits see that the dems will unite for November for Obama. I'm seething, like most of the women here and I have no intention of changing my mind -- even if Hillary campaigns her heart out for Obama. I might add that I have no intention of voting for any democratic superdelegate that threw a vote for Obama before the primaries were completed.

I agree with every single person who has said that if Hillary Clinton isn't the Democratic nominee for President, I will become a registered Independent -- and I will never, ever vote for Barack Obama. I am tired of his misogynistic campaign, and tired of the lies he's told about Senator Clinton -- or at least the lies his advisors have told about Senator Clinton.

As for those who are voting for others but leaving the top of the ticket blank -- don't do that. If you vote for all other Democrats, and you leave that top of the ticket blank, the people in the state office will kindly "fill in" your "intention" to vote for President -- and your vote will go to Barack Obama.

My advice is simple: write in Senator Clinton's name. That way you can prove you did not want Barack Obama, if it comes to that.

However, my best hopes are that it does _not_ come to that -- that the Democratic Party and the Democratic National Committee will realize they've backed the wrong horse, someone who has a good chance of losing 49 of 50 states in the fall -- and that the best and most-qualified candidate will be the winner -- Senator Hillary Clinton.

Because she's for every voter in every one of the _fifty_ United States (not fifty-seven; why wasn't the mainstream media all over Barack Obama's gaffe?) -- including Florida and Michigan.

Barack Obama, in a moment of infinite smugness, has scheduled upcoming campaign stops in Florida and Michigan -- I sincerely hope some people from those states will go and picket! (I wish I lived closer to either state; I'd do it myself!) How dare a man who has helped to disenfranchise two states even have the audacity to ask for the voters in those two states to vote for him? Disgraceful!

At any rate, Senator Clinton is the classy, experienced, smart, tough candidate -- she is the best choice for President. Vote for her in November -- even if you have to write her in!

I applaud you. This article literally gave me chills it was so good. My sister is an "Obamabot," as you call them, and she actually told me that if it were up to me, "black people would still be slaves." Now, I am not by any means racist. I judge people based on their character, not their skin color, and to do anything else seems absolutely ludicrous to me. I cannot even fathom such behavior. Their entire campaign is based on racism, and if you don't support Obama you're automatically a racist. Such behavior makes me see red, and it's why I will NOT, I will not EVER, vote for Obama. This is supposed to be the land of the free, where everyone has an equal opportunity, and where such "archaic" thoughts like racism and sexism are supposed to only be on the minds of Americans when we're trying to improve the negative minded actions and behaviours of other countries. However, Obama has made that impossible. There has been too much attention paid to race and gender in this election. I am sick of people saying they support Obama because it's time that a black person had some power, and that they won't vote for Hillary because she's a woman, or a bitch. Well, to that I say F*** you. F*** you, sexist and racist democrats! I am sick of it. I originally supported Hillary because of her ideas, character and experience. Not because of the revolutionary idea that hey, a person with a va***a could be just as good as a person with a p****s running this country. I will see her through this campaign, and if the democratic superdelegates are too afraid of being called racist, if they're too cowardly to make the decision that's best for this country, the John McCain is getting my vote, John McCain is getting my monetary support, and John McCain is getting ALL of my energy to help his campaign. I will not stand by and do nothing while Obama turns this country into a battle ground between whites and black. I will stand by and do nothing while Obama and his unamerican ways (read:wife) try to take charge of America. And I will NOT stand by and do absolutely nothing while Obama destroys the integrity of this country even more than our current president has.
So, Violet Socks, I applaud you. I applaud you for not giving in, being cowardly, and most importantly for not being weak. That is what they expect of us Clinton supporters, and they will not get it. Stand your ground women, and lift your heads high! Because we are not racist, but we will not allow our gender to be denigrated like this. This is our time to make history, and we stood on the sidelines before, believing that African-Americans deserved the right to vote so much, that we put our own rights on the back burner, and put theirs before us. But that time is gone, we deserve this and Hillary deserves this. She is the more qualified candidate and it's time we showed America that sexism is not a joke. Sexism will not be tolerated. We will not sit by and let it slide and accept it as part of life. It is not part of my life and it should not be a part of yours. Stand strong, and believe in Senator Clinton. Because she can do this, but she needs our help and support. Let this article inspire and incense you. It should. And then use your emotions and do something about it. Do something that shows that just because we are women, it does not mean that our voice should not be heard!

Ladies-----we have a major voice---it's time to use it!!!! Just wait til this Friday-----the women in the 6 main swing states (Ohio, Michigan, Florida, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Missouri) are going to unveil a plan to convince the superdelegates to vote for Hillary or they will put together a comprehensive campaign in the fall to take Obama down. If the Democratic Party thinks that we will just sit down and be quiet because we're so loyal, they have something coming to them. Who do you know in those states who can join up with this group?
Also, we need to put together a very long-lived public demonstration nationwide against any and all NBC outlets as a protest for the misogyny that they perpetrated. Did you know that the CEO of GE, the owner of NBC and MSNBC, is a fanatic Obama supporter? That's why they are willing to go to such great lengths to skewer Hillary at every turn. We need to put our money where our mouth is. Is there anyone out there who can organize a MAJOR demonstration at the MSNBC national headquarters in NYC? Let me know---cruccia@aol.com.

Amen, Candy! I couldn't have said it better myself. I did visibilty for Hillary with a black woman today. She said there is as much racism in the black community and they have no right to hold it over white people's heads. It's time to forget and move on...

Okay, folks, let me make something clear: African-American support for Obama is not racist. It is completely understandable community pride. AAs have had a horrible history in this country, starting out as slaves and only winning full civil rights in my lifetime. For them to come together as a community and support the guy who might be the first Black President is completely understandable.

Karen, I can't agree with you more. There are many reasons why I won't vote for Obama, and one of the most fundamental reasons why I won't vote for him is that he and his campaign played nasty race card against Hillary. Look, if over 90% of blacks want to vote for a candidate of their race, this is racism. These blacks don't even care about the country. They don't care if a fresh man from the senate who has never passed any legislation or accomplished anything can actually lead the nation. They can forget about all the good things have clintons done to them and then turn around stab them from behind. They can ignore a long list of bipartisan accomplishments that Hillary has achieved and how hard she has fought for middle-class families such.

No, no, no. I won't reward racist and selfish behaviors. No, no, no, I won't tolerate misogynism in this country. I am also deeply disappointed and angry with the democratic party. From this election, I have seen the true color of many democratic leaders. They are stupid. They think they can win without Hillary. so we will prove to them that they are wrong. They want to nominate Obama for whatever ulterior motives or old grudges they hold against clintons. then go ahead and screw up your party. I'm not a democrat any more. I'm an independent.

I think we should also sign up and write a very serious letter to the democratic party. If Hillary is not on the TOP of the ticket, we will not vote or even vote against. I don't accept Obama on the top with Hillary as Vp. This will be the biggest joke in history! A stronger candidate is forced to be VP while a sneaky immature guy stays on top, so when they win and go to the white house, Hillary does all the dirty work and Obama takes all the rewards! No, no, no, not such a thing. I don't reward this guy. He runs on his words and empty promises, but Hillary runs on real solutions and actions. I don't want Obama to get away with it!

I have written so many places that I would not vote for a racist if he wore a white skin and I will NOT vote for a racist with a black skin. Obama accused Bill and Hillary Clinton of racism in order to get 90% plus of the black vote. He is too dangerous to be president if he would do that dispicable thing. I will vote for John McCain and I will donate money to John McCain if Obama is the nominee. I have told the DNC that and I have told the DFA that. They had damned well better believe it because I am not bluffingl.
